About

Cherry Street

We are proud to announce the opening of our new location in the Fifth/Third Bank Building at 424 Church Street, with an expanded menu that includes many vegan and gluten-free options. Open from 7:30am to 3:30pm Monday-Friday for a quick breakfast, healthy lunch, or afternoon snack.

Looking for a bite to eat when you're at the Schermerhorn? Stop by Cherry Street Eatery & Sweetery, located in the West Lobby. Chef and owner Meg Giuffrida provides delicious scones, sandwiches, soups and desserts for breakfast and lunch 9 a.m.-2 p.m. on weekdays, and on all concert evenings.

Best known to local diners as the owner and chef of the beloved Red Wagon Cafe, Giuffrida is committed to serving healthy meals, locally sourced and made-from-scratch — grab-and-go “good food” at a competitive price point. Her clients have included Vanderbilt University, Belmont University, CMT, Frist Center for the Visual Arts, and the Mayor’s Office. During its popular run in East Nashville, Red Wagon garnered considerable critical acclaim, having been voted “Best Brunch” and “Best Caterer” several times in the Nashville Scene’s Best of Nashville Awards.

The café takes its moniker from the original name for Nashville’s Fourth Avenue, which was until the early 20th century known as Cherry Street.
